Dragon Cake!

Well, I've only taken a few cake making classes, but when my friend asked if I could make a cake for his nephew's birthday I couldn't resist the challenge (even if I really don't have the time!) The cake didn't turn out exactly like I wanted it, but I was still pretty proud! I'm still learning that is for sure! A great thing about this cake was that it tasted fabulous! I used this recipe from Martha Stewart (link). But I added a fudgey filling layered 1 inch apart throughout each cake (ala P.F. Chang's Great Wall of Chocolate). It was divine, if I say so myself. I didn't get pictures at the actual party, but here is one I took at home with my oh-so-professional sheet draped underneath!

hmmm... Knowing Shiloh, I'm going to bet this is an April Fool's joke post. However, what if I assume that and make a comment here about how funny your post is and it turns out you really did make that cake, then I will feel like a big jerk? I don't doubt in any way that you could make a cake like that, but I'm thinking you probably didn't. Happy April Fools Day!
